We provide girls in underserved and disadvantaged communities with access to quality mathematics and science tuition, empowering them to pursue higher education and careers in STEM. Additionally, we teach them coding and robotics, fostering essential skills for the future.
Since launching in 2021, the programme has led to a 50% improvement in academic performance, with many girls now ranking in the top 10 in maths and science at their schools. Our first cohort earned over 30 distinctions and are now pursuing degrees in Engineering, Medicine, Actuarial Science, and IT at leading universities nationwide. While we teach robotics, we recognise that our girls are not machines.
That’s why we emphasise their holistic development, nurturing not just their technical abilities but also their personal, interpersonal, mental, and socio-psychological growth. We understand that each girl comes from a unique background with distinct circumstances, and we create an inclusive environment that supports and enhances their learning experience.
Beyond the classroom, these labs serve as community innovation hubs, where unemployed youth and learners gain practical training in coding and robotics, skills that open pathways to meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.
We’ve established fully functional computer labs in ten under-resourced schools, enabling learners to study Computer Applications Technology (CAT) and IT as part of their formal curriculum.
